Still in the neighborhood
I just brought in the camera card from the trail camera. The last capture of a bear was this morning (5/27) at 5:49 am . The image was slightly blurred, suggesting the bear was moving, that might be because Gloria got up at 5:48 am and was walking into the kitchen.
Our neighbors feeders were damaged the night before ( 5/26) and we have captures that night also. So bottom line we will be continuing to bring in our feeders at night for a while longer.
We alos had a red fox come through.
The black tape is 36 inches off the ground. A mature American Black Bear stands 2 1/2 to 3 feet measureing from flat paws on the ground to the highest point of the shoulder. So this bear is a mature bear, probable 250 pounds or more I would speculate.
